Butler School first-graders show grandparents how much they’re loved
Butler School first-graders sing “Grandma and Grandpa, We Love You.”
Butler School first-graders showed their grandparents a little love this week with a special Grandparent’s Day Show.
“Thank you so much for coming today,” Principal Melissa Onesto told the visiting grandparents. “They have worked so hard” for this moment.
Directed by Butler music teacher Joel Huffman, students sang such songs as “Grandma and Grandpa, We Love You” and “Grandpa’s Whiskers.”
They also recited poetry, including one called “The Good Old Days.”
“This is one of my favorite shows,” said Onesto.
