No hero forgotten at Homer Junior High School
Students remember Armed Forces with collection drive

Homer Junior High School students are making sure our servicemen and women know they are not forgotten this holiday season.

This week, in conjunction with Veterans Day, the Homer Junior High School Student Council organized a collection drive, encouraging students and staff to bring in cans of tuna or fruit; small bottles of shampoo and conditioner; or card games.

The items will be sent to troops this holiday season through Operation Care Package’s “Let No Hero Be Forgotten” national campaign.

“The Homer Junior High School Student Council wishes to thank all who contributed to our first service project of the 2016-17 school year,” said teacher and Student Council sponsor Judy Brunzelle.
