It is clear that when it comes to our Constitutional right to bear arms, there are no party lines. The Founding Fathers said God gives us the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The second amendment was the means they gave us to protect these rights. It was pointed out by citizens in public comment that as elected officials we took an oath to defend the Constitution not to help rip it apart. The members of the Will County Legislative Committee understand the importance of standing for the Constitutional rights of the people in Will County.
The next action will be taken at the Will County Executive Committee on April 4th 9:30am 302 N. Chicago in Joliet.
