This week, Governor Rauner established the Opioid Overdose Prevention and Intervention Task Force in Illinois. Noting that there are 1900 expected opioid-related deaths in our state this year, the Task Force will work to prevent the expansion of the opioid crisis in our state and reduce opioid-related deaths in Illinois.

Highlighting that the opioid crisis affects all walks of life in our state, the Governor’s new task force will work to prevent expansion of the crisis and reduce the number of overdose deaths.

This weekend: Gov. Rauner embarks on 8-day trade mission
Looking to promote Illinois and its industries overseas, Governor Rauner will travel to Asia for an 8-day trade mission starting Saturday.
