Paint Night to be held March 22 at St. Bernard’s

At 7 p.m. Friday, March 22, residents are welcome to join for a paint night at St. Bernard Catholic Church, located at 13030 W. 143rd Street in Homer Glen. 

St. Bernard’s Respect Life group is sponsoring this opportunity where participants will get their own canvas and paints and be guided by the Rev. Thomas Loya, renowned artist and pastor of Annunciation Church. Loya has created a unique painting to be copied by participants.  

Refreshments will be served. The evening costs $45, with proceeds to support Waterleaf Women’s Center. Waterleaf is a premiere, life-affirming women’s center in the Diocese of Joliet and is building a new clinic and education center adjacent to the Planned Parenthood in Aurora (that Planned Parenthood center is the third-largest abortion center in the country.

The new Waterleaf Women’s Center will expand its capacity to provide pregnancy and STD testing, ultrasounds, counseling, ongoing continuing education and help, and much more.
