Chicago – April 1, 2019 – Total Living Network (TLN) – is pleased to participate in God First
Ministries’ 2019 Community Breakfast. Dr. Mildred C. Harris, founder and CEO of God First
Ministries has held an annual prayer breakfast to pray for Chicago city leaders and to feed those who
are disadvantaged for over 30 years.
TLN will be one of several honorees being recognized for its outstanding contributions as an advocate
for the Body of Christ and as a leader engaged in the concerns for the people in our city and abroad.
TLN has partnered with God First Ministries over the decades starting with Total Living International
Chairman Jerry K. Rose’s initial relationship with Dr. Harris and her ministry, continuing to current
TLI President & CEO Debra Fraser who will be in attendance to accept the recognition on behalf of
TLN.
Several city leaders typically attend the Community Breakfast, from the Mayor of Chicago, to
congressmen and women, aldermen and women, as well as Illinois state officials. Students are
awarded financial scholarships and Distinguished Leader Awards are presented. The 2019 God First
Ministries’ Community Breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 6 th at the Hilton Chicago Hotel
International Ballroom.
God First Church and Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to training, developing and
utilizing individuals’ talents and abilities to the glory of God. Using a holistic approach, the Ministry
reaches out to serve diverse communities through social programs and services.
