Applications now being accepted for lunchroom and recess monitors
Looking for a little pocket cash or opportunity to get out of the house for a few hours each day?
Consider applying to be a lunchroom and recess monitor in Homer School District 33C.
The district is seeking qualified candidates to assist students during the lunch period at all six schools.
Monitors will be paid $10 an hour and work about 2.5 hours a day — depending on the school’s lunch/recess schedule.
For more information, visit the district’s website at www.homerschools.org and click on the “employment” tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
Applicants need to be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma.
Performance responsibilities include directing students as they enter/exit the cafeteria; teaching/reinforcing lunchroom rules and expectations; wiping down cafeteria tables between lunch periods; and monitoring/reinforcing proper student behavior.
Monitors will be required to complete district annual training required by all employees.
