Four years ago today I founded Turning Point USA.
What started as an idea has now become a nationwide movement of young people on college and high school campuses across the country.
I am humbled by the overwhelming commitment and support from our donors, advisors, activists, and staff.
It all started when I called Bill Montgomery on June 5th 2012 and told him I had the name of an organization that will rival “MoveOn.Org.”
That name was Turning Point USA.
We started with no money, connections, or credibility and we have grown Turning Point USA into aMACHINE.
We now have over 70 full time staff, thousands of trained activists, a presence on over 1,100 campuses, and hundreds of thousands of identified students who otherwise would never have been engaged in the movement.
That only tells part of the story. Check out these pictures from the last four years. I am continually amazed at how fast we have grown.
