Back to School Supply Drive underway in Homer 33C
The Homer 33C Support Staff Council and Homer Glen Junior Woman’s Club have teamed up to collect crayons, washable markers, glue sticks and other school supplies for Homer 33C students.
Donations may be dropped off at any Homer 33C school.
“The Homer 33C Support Staff Council is very excited to be joining the Homer Glen Junior Woman’s Club in sponsoring a school supplies drive,” said support staff representatives Stella Kapusta and Susan Koziarski.
“This drive will not only benefit students in need in our district, but will hopefully help teachers who generously spend their own money to make sure their students have the proper supplies,” they added.
Among the items being sought are:
- Crayons (24 count)
- Washable markers
- Glue sticks
- Colored pencils
- Black, blue and red pens
- Highlighters (any color)
- Earbuds
- Pocket folders with and without prongs
- 2 pencils
- Erasable black/blue pens
- Spiral notebooks (wide-ruled)
- Erasers
The drive will continue throughout the school year so supplies are continually replenished.
