Weeks ago Barack Hussein Obama chastised the media for reporting that he may have made a spineless, totally pathetic decision to exchange 400 million dollars for American sailors captured and imprisoned by the Iranians.
Now the man(?) who makes Jimmy Carter look like Theodore Roosevelt is finally copping to it:
The State Department admitted Thursday that the US would not hand over $400 million in cash to Iran until it released four American hostages — two weeks after President Obama insisted the payment was not a “ransom.”
State Department spokesman John Kirby was asked at Thursday’s press briefing: “In basic English, you’re saying you wouldn’t give them $400 million in cash until the prisoners were released, correct?”
“That’s correct,” Kirby replied.
In an August 4 press conference, President Obama said the opposite.
Make no mistake: Americans aren’t starving for another Middle Eastern regime change adventure. But we have the most powerful military in the history of the world, and dozens of other ways to throw our considerable weight around. Those who would do America harm should fear us. But they don’t. They understand that America is lead by an ideologically impotent shell of a man who would rather apologize for America than defend it. Expect more of this if Crooked Hillary is elected.
