Resignations
1. Jessica Schweers – special education teacher, Schilling School, effective June 27, 2017
2. Colleen Simeone – kindergarten teacher, Schilling School, effective July 10, 2017
3. Pamela Crowley – bus driver, Transportation, effective June 14, 2017
4. Jason Skube – Band Director, Summer Band Director, Percussion Ensemble Director
and Mustang Band Director, effective for the 2017-2018 school year

The Board approved a position change for Robert Rounsaville, moving him from kindergarten
Principal at Schilling School to Director of Support Personnel Services

The Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the Homer 33C Board of
Education and the Homer 33C Support Staff Council agreement and recognition of the Nurse
Aide as part of the bargaining unit
●
Superintendent Kara Coglianese reported kindergarten enrollment is up significantly for the
coming school year. The District plans to add at least two sections of kindergarten for the
2017-2018 school year, bringing it up to 16 sections. If 15 more kindergartners register in the
coming weeks, the District will need to add a 17
th
section. The first day of school is August 23
rd
.
