Homer 33C teachers, staff delve into new year
The 2017-18 school year has officially started!
Teachers and staff gathered Aug. 21 for an inspirational and informative Opening Day Institute at Hadley Middle School.
After reconnecting over coffee, they headed to a variety of in-house workshops, including Leadership Development Skills; Supporting English Learners in the Classroom; and Google Tools for the Techy Generation.
Many of the workshops were led by Homer 33C employees.
Presenters included: teachers Shannon Schroeder, Ashley Nelson, Kari Olson, Jon Grill, Jaime Callan, Lisa Haglund and Kaleen DeFilippis-Holba; administrators Christi Tyler, Candis Gasa, Kelly Kardas, Kathleen Robinson, Chris Graefen and Arlene Siefert; technology team members James Carpenter and Pam Waterman; and business team member Kelly Crimmins.
The first day of school is Wednesday, Aug. 23.
