State Rep. Lindsay Parkhurst to Host Free Document Shredding Event
Kankakee, IL – State Representative Lindsay Parkhurst (R-Kankakee) invites residents of the 79th Legislative House District to take advantage of a free document-shredding event on Saturday, September 21st.
Rep. Parkhurst is collaborating with Kankakee County Treasurer Nick Africano and Mobile Document Destruction to bring a free shred truck to Bonfield Grade School at 522 E Smith St in Bonfield. The truck will be available from 10 am to 12 pm. Drivers are asked to follow signs and bring their vehicles up to the truck where volunteers will be available to unload documents. No more than two boxes of shreddable documents will be accepted from each vehicle. The event is rain or shine.
“I am happy to help people safely discard sensitive documents and safeguard their identity,” Rep. Parkhurst said regarding the event.
