We’re on to them and they know it
For years we here at Bob Livingston’s various media products have been telling you about the existence of the Deep State, the secretive, invisible government that operates behind the scenes no matter which party is in power. Other liberty writers and truth-tellers have also written countless articles about it. And for years the propaganda corporate media have denied its existence while calling those of us who write about it “conspiracy theorists,” whackos or nuts.
Well, it seems we’re winning the truth war. Last week The Old Gray Lady — AKA The New York Slimes — wrote a piece in which they admitted the Deep State’s existence.
“President Trump is right: The deep state is alive and well,” wrote Times opinion writer Michelle Cottle, a Deep State propagandist since the Clinton Administration. “But it is not the sinister, antidemocratic cabal of his fever dreams. It is, rather, a collection of patriotic public servants — career diplomats, scientists, intelligence officers and others — who, from within the bowels of this corrupt and corrupting administration, have somehow remembered that their duty is to protect the interests, not of a particular leader, but of the American people.”
Of course! We’ve been wrong all along to assume the Deep State cabal is some nebulous group or groups of ingrained incestuous actors actively working in concert against the wishes of the American people. They’re patriots, public servants operating for a noble purpose. How could we not see that?
And those whistleblowers leaking Trump’s state calls and behind-the-scenes-machinations of Trump’s government are looking out for America, not deliberately undermining Trump for base, self-protective reasons. How could we not realize that? They are sacrificing their careers, why, even their sacred honor to protect America from the bumbling and corrupt Orange Man. We owe them the respect of brave people who have sacrifice themselves for country throughout the ages. These “patriotic public servants” are heroes!
Balderdash.
The Deep State opposes Trump because it’s trying to protect its gravy train of forever wars, ever-expanding bureaucratic power and money printing. Trump, his bellicosity, verbosity, nonsensical ramblings, crudeness and lack of couth aside, has upset the establishment’s apple cart to such an extent that the Deep State is doing everything in its power — save for the JFK option (so far) — to thwart him. The Deep State is not patriotic. It’s self-serving, psychopathic, narcissistic and amoral. It’s trying to pull off a coup – has been since before Trump was even inaugurated — and consists of the vast federal bureaucracy, the American intelligence apparatus, the military-industrial complex and the federal law enforcement regime.
Maybe not even ‘fake news’ describes the depth of fake news
PJ Media founder Roger L. Simon took a shot at Faux News’ top #NeverTrumper (now that the very gay, very arrogant, very condescending and very unpleasant Shephard Smith has departed), Chris Wallace, over his gotcha interview with Trump Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney a couple of weeks ago.
Wallace claimed a “well-connected Republican” had told him there was a 20 percent chance the GOP would vote to remove Trump from office. As is usual with fake news, Wallace wouldn’t name his source. He was treating hearsay, gossip or outright fabrication as fact in order to create a narrative when he asked Mulvaney to comment on his unsourced — and therefore unfounded — allegation as if were a proven fact.
This has been the modus operandi of #NeverTrump operators from the beginning. The Steele dossier, which led to the FISA abuses and wiretapping of Trump operatives to leaks about the Trump-Russia collusion investigation to leaks from James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, etc., to leaks from the Robert Mueller investigation were always “sourced” by people who could not be named for various reasons. The “news” from these “sources” also always turned out to be at best half truths but most often outright fabrications.
So Wallace leads his interview with a phony question, which serves to put doubt in the mind of wafflers — people who don’t understand that unnamed sources usually means fake news — about whether Trump will be able to withstand the impeachment because the Republicans in the Senate will go wobbly.
Simon asks, “is it true or is it disinfo?”:…I’ll go with the latter. In fact, given Trump’s popularity with the Republican rank-and-file, it would be suicidal for incumbent Republican politicians to vote him out. They’d be out themselves at the next primary. And I agree with Simon. The House Democrats may or may not impeach Trump. But not even Senate Republicans are foolish enough to remove from office a president as popular as Trump is with the GOP base. It would be suicide.
While Pierre Delecto Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and other leftist “Republicans” may vote to remove, the Senate will never make it to the two-thirds (66) needed to remove him.
Anyone telling you Trump is going to be removed is a disinformation agent. And that includes Chris Wallace and the petulant Judge Andrew Napolitano.
No, the MLB umpire didn’t call for civil war
Major League Baseball umpire Rob Drake is being investigated by the league after posting a dumb tweet on the Twitter social media platform on Tuesday. Drake apparently deleted the tweet almost immediately, but not before some nosy social justice warrior/control freak had tattled on Drake to MLB.
According to media reports, Drake tweeted:
I will be buying an AR-15 tomorrow, because if you impeach MY PRESIDENT this way, YOU WILL HAVE ANOTHER CIVAL WAR!!! #MAGA2020″
Putting aside the fact that we hope Drake calls balls and strikes better than he spells, what Drake tweeted here is not revolutionary. Polls show that 70 percent of Americans think we’re on the brink of civil war. And 60+ million Americans are going to be quite upset if the three-year long coup to oust Trump is successful and will probably feel a lot like Drake does about the potential fallout over Trump’s removal, which most of them will see as illegitimate.
But the media are being blatantly dishonest (which we in Alabama call “lying”) in the way they’re reporting Drake’s tweet.
Deadspin claimed Drake would be purchasing the rifle “in order to wage ‘CIVAL WAR'” if Trump is impeached. The McPaper — AKA USA Today — headlined the story “Major League Baseball investigating umpire Rob Drake’s tweet calling for civil war if Trump is impeached.” The always fake news CIA official mouthpiece Washington Post led the story with this headline: “‘Buying an AR-15’: MLB probes ump who reportedly threatened civil war over impeachment.”
Drake did none of those things, so those stories are fake news. He merely expressed that he expected “cival war” to happen if Trump is impeached and was buying a rifle in order to be prepared for any unrest. Of course, the media mob immediately began to wade through Drake’s Twitter history and found — gasp — he’s a Trump supporter who has tweeted disgust over the way Hillary Clinton was exonerated for the Benghazi and email scandals, and over the way Trump is treated in the MSM.
Now, why was it dumb of Drake to post his tweet? Well it’s not because it’s inaccurate. There will likely be civil unrest at the very least if the #NeverTrump mob is successful in removing Trump over the fabricated scandals that are currently swirling around the District of Criminals. It was dumb because he should never advertise he’s buying a weapon. The gun grabbers have enough tools at their disposal to steal weapons from law-abiding citizens already. But they can only get the guns they know about.
We’re with you Rob, but keep your gun purchases secret. We don’t want you to become one of the folks who dies as a result of an armed raid on your place by the establishment-backed gun grabbing Gestapo.
Sorry, that’s not white supremacy, but it is a violation of the 1A
The war on speech continues apace, as does the war on white people.
Last week, two University of Connecticut students were arrested for walking around campus making ubiquitous use of the word that’s forbidden for white people to speak, but not those of “color.”
That word, of course, is nigger. The charged men are Jarred Karal and Ryan Mucaj, both 21. They were charged under Connecticut General Statute 53-37, with ridicule on account of creed religion, color denomination, nationality or race. The “crime” is a class D misdemeanor and carries a maximum penalty of 30 days in jail, according to Connecticut law.
Unsurprisingly, the MSM called it a case of white supremacy. It’s not. Karal is Turkish. Musaj is Albanian. Neither are white. But that doesn’t matter to the MSM.
But worse is the fact that Connecticut has a law on the books that so blatantly violates the 1st Amendment. As a reminder, the 1st Amendment states:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. (Emphasis mine)
Remember, the Supreme Court has incorporated the first eight amendments to the states. That means the activist judiciary has essentially replaced the word “Congress” with government at all points. (That’s how they get away with forcing Christianity from public schools, Christian prayers from school events and Nativity scenes from public squares.)
Reading the 1st Amendment one more time, I don’t see an exception in the free speech clause for “ridicule on account of creed religion, color denomination, nationality or race.”
If these guys put up a challenge, I can’t see any way the charges against them will stand. But then, I never thought a Dallas jury would rule that a mother can sex change her 7-year-old son, so what do I know?
Surprise, they’re lying to us
The establishment line is that there are approximately 11 million illegals roaming about the U.S. looking for crops to pick, hotel rooms to clean, bricks to lay, drywall to hang, landscapes to nurture, roofs to shingle and all those other things that Americans won’t do at slave wages when they can sit home and collect welfare and disability and otherwise mooch off those of us who actually work for a living. Oh, and those illegals are also doing some serious raping, robbing and killing, but we don’t talk about that because it’s inconvenient to the globalist-Chamber of Commerce-unionist-open borders narrative. So forget we mentioned it.
Some of us have questioned the accuracy of that 11 million number as it seems to stay the same no matter how many people slip, waltz, jump, swim or climb across our border every year. Turns out we were right to be suspicious.
Trump’s Acting Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services says the number of people living illegally in the U.S. is likely closer to 22 million. He cited a study from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Trump makes a lot of noise about building a wall, and seems to be working as best he can against an intransigent Congress (pushback comes from Democrats and Republicans) to actually build one. But at the same time he’s ramping up legal immigration.
We certainly don’t need more legal immigrants if we just found out there are twice as many illegals as we previously thought.
