| James Marter Gets Illinois Family Action EndorsementIL14 Congressional Campaign Demonstrates Strong, Growing Conservative, ProLIFE, ProFamily and Grassroots SupportOswego, IL (February 18, 2020) – The Marter for Congress Campaign announced Tuesday, that James Marter has received the endorsement of Illinois Family Action. This comes on the heels of an article naming Marter as one of three promising “Freedom Caucus Freshman” that Illinois may send to Congress this next election, grouping him with two other IFA endorsed candidates in Jeanne Ives and Mary Miller. The IFA endorsement adds to the list Marter released earlier this month, of nearly 100 conservative leaders and organizations giving him the nod. These ranged from national figures including former Congresswoman, Michele Bachmann to “local legend” organizers such as Barb Babbey, formerly of the conservative group, Walsh Freedom.Illinois Family Action seeks to pick the most pro-life, pro-family candidates and provide resources that will send conservative and Christian voters to the polls in droves. That includes the Primary Election coming on March 17th. Conservative issues are front and center in this race because IL14 is a district President Trump won in 2016.Candidate surveys are part of IFA’s analysis and included were questions on legislation such as the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and the Abortion Survivors Protection Act. Also included were questions on the border wall, the Green New Deal and impeachment. Marter topped the assessment and won the endorsement with three Primary opponents declining to answer the questions and the remaining three feeling a need to qualify some answers. “Once again, James is showing he’s a leader with firm convictions,” said a campaign spokesperson. “He is exactly who we need in Congress to balance the wave of left wing ideas that seem to be dominating the House these days.
