Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

July  17th, 2020 Given the amount of corruption in Illinois and recent allegations, I am calling for the resignation of Speaker Michael Madigan.

Madigan and other top Illinois Democrats have made millions through backdoor deals and bribery. They have forsaken the good people of Illinois for their own political and personal benefit and have allowed us to be over-taxed, over-burdened, and under-represented.

Due to the news of large-scale bribery taking place between Madigan and ComEd, the feds should seize Madigan’s personal campaign fund and also any other funds that he controls as Chairman of the Illinois Democratic Party. Because we can’t be sure which funds that Madigan is associated with are dirty or illegitimate, we should ensure that none of it is used in this, or any other, election cycle.

The Democratic Party of Illinois is controlled by Madigan and has directly benefited from his illegal activity. Many Democratic Party state legislatures have also condoned it or taken part in it themselves for this reason. With this in mind, I am also calling for a Federal audit of any funds controlled by the Illinois Democratic Party.

When looked into, this scheme could reveal the likely possibility that the money ComEd used to bribe corrupt politicians, like Madigan, was first stolen from Illinois residents in more than favorable conditions toward ComEd and other predatory companies that were negotiated by Madigan himself. This would mean that Illinois residents have been paying  much more than they otherwise would if not for this corrupt activity.

If Com-Ed is okay with paying $200 million in fines, how much have they stolen from Illinois residents? How much have they given to corrupt politicans?

Speaker Madigan must resign over this felonious criminal activity.
