Ives Response to Inquires about Private Lake Zurich Meet and Greet
July 31, 2020 – The Ives campaign has issued the following response regarding a private meet and greet she attended last night that was photographed by members of her opponent’s camp:
Jeanne attended outdoor event last night to which was was invited by several of her supporters. Illinois is in Stage 4 of the governor’s own reopen plan. Drive through most suburban towns and the City of Chicago. You will see people dining outdoors without masks. Everyone in attendance was an adult who is well- educated on the situation. Everyone behaved appropriately and respectfully. No one tore down any statues or looted any businesses. These are adults who are capable of making their own decisions. They don’t need Sean Casten and his supporters to be their minders.
