Ives to Post Record-Breaking Q3 Numbers, Continues Strong Momentum in Battle for US House (IL-06)
Jeanne Ives raises over $1M in Q3October 5, 2020 – The Jeanne for Congress campaign raised over $1 Million in Q3 – breaking all previous quarterly campaign fundraising totals.
As the country has become increasingly unsettled and voters look for a steady-hand and voice of reason, Jeanne Ives’ campaign demonstrated more and more momentum, with third quarter fundraising totals that nearly double any previous quarter, with the majority of the total raised in 2020 coming from grassroots donations online and in the mail.
Ives’ fundraising strength is just the latest sign that she is running a campaign that is resonating with voters, and that she will have the resources needed to win in November.
“It’s no surprise that Sean Casten is losing support,” said Ives. “He ran as a moderate in 2018 only to reverse course and vote 100% of the time with Nancy Pelosi on bloated budgets and spending bills. And he voices support for tax hikes on 90% of taxpayers.
“As our team surges with grassroots support and a winning infrastructure, our effort to flip the Sixth will only continue to build momentum heading into November. We are tremendously grateful to the thousands of people who have joined our team over the past year who want to bring real representation and leadership back to the Sixth District.”
