Miss Constitution Analyzes. . . Day 12 of the Presidential Election Crisis
China Has Launched Cold War
In one of these special columns, Miss Constitution discussed the phenomenon of mental manipulation techniques perfected with radio in the 1930s, but certainly in play today with television, computers, and movies. These are great influencers individuals do not recognize as having the effect that they actually have. Only when parents see behaviors they do not understand in their children, do some of them connect the hours spent at the computer with their children’s mental and emotional health. It has almost come down to whoever controls the messaging controls the person. Once the manipulation occurs it is difficult for the individual to break away. It occurred by the influence of one individual in Guyana in 1978 where 918 persons willingly committed suicide by drinking a cyanide-laced punch. It has occurred politically both ways in this manufactured political season.
Note: China has total influence and power in the American film industry and controls the messaging through its movie stars and through the movies themselves.
What is a manufactured political season? It means that the real and the surreal are so well homogenized together that the average person cannot tell one from the other. It is now impossible to tell fact from fiction; to tell mistake from corruption; to tell traitor from patriot; to tell restraint from collusion; to tell if a number is accurate; to tell a “good” motive from a “bad” motive; to tell who is trying to get to the truth and who is telling his or her truth with conviction, knowing it is a false narrative. We are at such a point in our society that when we look at snow we cannot tell if it is white or black. Was the election “fixed” way before November 3 through promised computer algorithms and software or was it basically honest and fair with a few understandable mistakes? There are those mentally manipulated on both sides. On the Democrat side, those with Trump Derangement Syndrome, evidence it by a visceral hatred for anyone who does not see truth as they see truth. If not actual violence, deep-freezing those one does not agree with marks the behavior of those afflicted. The illusion of moral superiority rises to dizzying heights. On the Republican side, those with Derangement regarding Trump Derangement Syndrome, evidence it by a mouth so dry they cannot speak. Sentences run together in a jumble of nonsense. Sarcasm is a clue to those with this problem. The sarcasm is so thick they can barely get it out of their dry mouths. Depression and the drugs to handle it come into play. China is loving the current state of affairs as America appears hopelessly broken.
What can we do? What we can do is let the Founders help us. What we can do is let the United States Constitution provide the rules and guidelines for Presidential elections.
- Elections, even those that include a Presidential election every four years, are governed by State Legislatures. Whatever statutes are in place at the time of the election govern how votes are made, tabulated, and certified. Voters must be of a certain age and citizenship and must be registered to vote in that particular jurisdiction. No executive officer, Governor, Secretary of State, Elections Official, etc., may add or subtract rules and procedures put in place by the Legislature of a particular state prior to the election. Legal votes count; illegal votes do not. To assure honest and fair elections, each State has a process for observers of all political parties to physically watch as the votes are tabulated to make sure that the State’s rules are followed. Contested ballots are set aside for further review. Most States allow Provisional ballots if a person tries to vote without a record of their registration. This should cause no alarm in anyone and certainly not in those afflicted with one of the Derangement Syndromes.
- The President of the United States is actually elected by Electors that are selected under the direction of the State Legislature. The vote for President, after getting a certified result of the State’s vote count, is through Electors of each State. State Legislatures decide on guidelines for these Electors. The original purpose of the Electoral College has been discussed in another column. Again, this information should cause no alarm in those afflicted with one of the Derangement Syndromes.
- Federal Constitutional rights, privileges and duties may come into play even though the rules of voting, tabulating, and certifying are left to State Legislatures.
So, where are the cracks? What is not understood that could trigger the Syndromes and leave America hopelessly broken? Miss Constitution thinks it is when:
- The investigatory Press is not actually functioning. Americans are left without eyes and ears to evaluate information and factual data.
- Public officials do not support the Constitutional process that provides enough time for confirmation, examination, and correction by Court order or other means. When asked by a CBS reporter what the effect on our democracy is by “false allegations of election fraud”, former President Obama had a duty to respond that we do not know what is “false” until there is examination and investigation and the Constitution of the United States provides the time for this examination. His actual response that Republicans are harming democracy is likely to trigger the Syndromes and is irresponsible.
- The public is not fully aware of what computer systems are used in the tabulation process, who is monitoring them, and whether there is the same transparency regarding computer systems as there is regarding paper ballots.
China could not be happier that we have not got a handle on any of this and continue to be confused about the color of snow. If one thinks one has one of the Syndromes, the cure is to step back and let the Constitution bring you back to sanity.
