There will be a comprehensive plan meeting to discuss changing the existing plan. The problem I see is the inclusion of apartment buildings.
The Village may need to consider relaxing some of the lot restrictions and development codes to promote greater diversity in housing typologies and rentals. For example, the Framework Plan in Chapter 4 recommends the consideration of residential development typologies that expand the housing stock beyond single-family detached units with multi-family options, such as townhouses, condos, and apartments
We need to show up and say no to any apartment complexes like the ones in Orland Park and coming to Lockport. 5pm November 19th at the Village of Homer Glen.
Show up and stop this change before the leadership of the Village of Homer Glen Board gives us what we will surely regret. Please take the survey.
