GOP COMMITTEEMAN KRUPA TO LEAD SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28 ‘MARCH ON MADIGAN’

On Saturday, November 28, Republican 13th Ward Committeeman David Krupa will lead a 11:00 a.m. march on Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan’s State Representative office at 6500 S. Pulaski Rd. in Chicago.

‘March on Madigan’ participants will be adding to the chorus of calls for Speaker Madigan to resign from his leadership position, step down as Chair of the Illinois Democratic Party and return the millions in campaign cash he and/or the Illinois Democrat Party may have received from Commonwealth Edison, made more urgent by the recent indictment of close associates and former Commonwealth Edison leadership by U.S. Attorney John Lausch.

”All the Republican members of the Illinois House and 16 Democrat members who have demanded his resignation make it impossible for him to retain his Speaker’s position and are sending a powerful message to Speaker Madigan, it’s time to resign. They – along with Illinois taxpayers – are fed up with corruption and are tired of being sold out by predatory politicians like Madigan,” stated Krupa.

“The recent indictments of Madigan’s longtime consigliere, Mike McClain, two additional Commonwealth Edison lobbyists and a former ComEd CEO, is the straw that has broken the Camel’s back for the Democrats, so now is the time for him to exit the stage. The clock seems to be ticking a lot faster for Speaker Madigan’s departure.”

A July, 2020 deferred prosecution agreement with Commonwealth Edison arranged by the U.S. Attorney’s Office stated: “Public official A is the Speaker of the House and the longest serving member of the Illinois House of Representatives.”

“The company admitted that it arranged for jobs and vendor subcontracts for Public Official A’s political allies and workers even in instances where those people performed little or no work that they were purportedly hired by ComEd to perform.” the U.S. Attorney’s Office added.

The protest march will begin at 11:00 a.m. Madigan’s office is located at 6500 S. Pulaski Rd. in Chicago’s 13th Ward.
