F.W. in Nebraska wrote to me recently, and was quite upset:

“I’m beginning to get pretty angry. I stay off Facebook best I can, but I am tired and annoyed. The New York Post story is the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. It’s too bizarre for me — on top of all I’ve read here on the COVID matters — to think a sleep aid does anything for coronavirus. That’s too dystopian for my brain to handle.”

Dear F.W.:

What’s dystopian is that the mainstream told you that melatonin was only for sleep and you believed them. Of course they want you to think that. They don’t want your Pineal gland to be healthy so you can think, dream, imagine, be creative, and break out of the prison of the mind they have created for you and imposed on you through things like water fluoridation.

But don’t take my word for it. A National Research Council Report found “a growing body of scientific research linking fluoride exposure to disruption of the nervous and endocrine systems, including the brain, thyroid and pineal gland.”

Why would they want to inactivate your pineal gland? Because it has a role in the brain that also spans all all bodily systems, and it could indeed be the master conductor of the physiology of the brain and body.

As an engine of awareness in your brain, this would be among the first thing the powers-that-shouldn’t-be would want to shut down.

Do you go to bed with your phone next to you, or the TV on?

Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) in your bedroom emitted from TVs, cell phones and laptops emit strong frequencies when plugged in and charging.

The “apps” on these devices that we use daily are designed to keep us using them all the time, and to want to keep the devices housing them close. Why is that bad for us? Because within three feet of your head, EMF-emitting technologies disrupt your pineal gland and its melatonin production, and may have other negative biological effects as well.

Did you know that the way of holding or carrying your phone exposes your body to dangerous amounts of electromagnetic radiation that exceed the manufacturer’s guidelines and that have been linked with:

1. Weight gain
2. Hormonal disruption
3. Premature aging
4. Joint pain
5. Headaches
6. Arrhythmia
7. Even multiple cancers

Just like you, I used to think this all sounded like something only crazy people wearing tinfoil hats would say. That’s until I read this jaw-dropping article:

===> How EMFs Age You Faster & How To Avoid Them

Melatonin is a hormone, and one of our most important antioxidants. For example toxins in drugs (both prescription and illegal) can damage the cochlea, and higher supplemental melatonin can prevent this, and prevent further damage and stop hearing loss.

Melatonin also protects against cancer and is essential for eye function. And we already have known that melatonin offers beneficial protection from viruses like the flu, so it is not surprising at all that scientists have found it can battle coronaviruses.

Melatonin, anti-inflammatory immune booster

Melatonin is mostly synthesized in the brain’s pineal gland, while some is produced in the retina and intestines. Melatonin’s primary function, as you probably know, is to create your day/night rhythm that is so important to the timing of the release of other hormones. This sleeping and waking pattern must be punctual in order to keep your other organs functioning normally. Because of melatonin release, at night your muscles relax, you are less tense and your blood pressure drops to healthy resting levels.

Without melatonin, your body might not sense when to go to bed, or when to wake up. You would sleep poorly and wake up often and not be able to go back to sleep. This would adversely affect your mood and your motivation in the daytime. You would feel tense, irritable and aggressive.

In order to help you wake, melatonin triggers thyroid hormone and somehow cortisol secretion too. While cortisol is secreted into the blood when stress requires it, melatonin is secreted when sleep is needed.

Melatonin is also an antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory properties to protect the heart and arteries and reduce your risk of heart disease. Melatonin slows cancer cell growth and inhibits HIV virus replication in the laboratory.

So you see, melatonin is not only a “supplement” used as a sleep aid.

Melatonin testing and supplementation

Melatonin is usually tested as part of a hormone panel measured in saliva. Since there are many symptoms related to energy, sleep and stress, you’ll be wise to correlate melatonin along with the other sex hormones and cortisol.

The need for supplementation with melatonin is less important than the balancing of your cortisol levels. This is because once you get cortisol levels balanced, melatonin will usual self-balance. Just taking melatonin at night when the real problem is a hyper-secretion of cortisol could throw you more out of balance.

Melatonin is very safe. The dose ranges from just 0.5 mg at night to as high as 10 mg for antioxidant, eye, and cancer protection. Therefore, start low and increase it slowly should you need.

Also, remember to get enough salt in your diet. Not the processed white stuff that has no nutrients. Get sea salt, or Himalayan salt, that still have all the nutrients and have not been bleached. Salt is essential for preserving the serotonin and melatonin levels in the brain. When water and salt perform their natural antioxidant duties and clear toxic waste from the body, essential amino acids, such as tryptophan and tyrosine, will not be sacrificed as chemical antioxidants.

In a well-hydrated body, tryptophan is spared and gets into the brain tissue, where it is used to manufacture serotonin, melatonin, indolamine and tryptamine — essential antidepressant neurotransmitters.
