A state of war exists when there is declared or undeclared military conflict. But this is not the only war. A state of war exists when oppressive authority under the color of law and seductive persuasion gradually diminishes our natural rights to life, liberty and property.
Today we live in a state of war with the U.S. government. The fact that almost no one is aware is a tribute to the deceptiveness of our political process.
Why do most people not feel the oppression of government in spite of so many things that look so obvious to some of us? I can give you one answer and I believe it to be true: The more dependent one is on government authority, the less likely he is to see government and its politicians as an adversary.
Nowhere is this more evident than the new debate over immigrants surging over the border, and Comrade Xoe Xiden’s unwillingness to do anything about it aside from meekly saying “No, stop, don’t” from the basement of the White House.
Meanwhile, the Washington Free Beacon’s Matthew Continetti writes: “On March 14, the day that Kevin McCarthy and 12 House Republicans went to Texas to visit the southern border, the El Paso Central Processing Center for migrants reached capacity. The Republicans heard heartbreaking stories of unaccompanied children, some less than six years old, crossing the border while holding hands. Border agents informed the congressmen that fentanyl traffickers are exploiting the surge in illegal immigration. One agent told John Katko, ranking member on the Homeland Security Committee, that a few of the apprehended migrants appear on the terrorist watch list. Border and immigration personnel are stretched thin. ‘They’ve never seen anything like this,’ McCarthy told me.”
Are people everywhere who oppose rampant, destructive and illegal immigration, and who use their vote to check it, to be deemed worthy of “cancellation”? That sounds rather anti-democratic to me, but it’s precisely where we’re heading if Bidens and Harrises of the world have their way.
It was almost 15 years ago now that I wrote in my Bob Livingston Letter: “Threats of terrorism and 12 million ‘illegal’ immigrants are being used to justify new police state measures in the United States. Remember that we said massive immigration is unofficial U.S. policy. If it was not government policy, it would be stopped. Now this double-dimension plot to make immigration appear dangerous to our security.”
Instead of terrorism, now it’s the threat of migrants bringing in the coronavirus that’s being used to sow fear and dissension. And yet, not one stops the surge across the border.
Safe
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the evil stepchild of the Department of Homeland Security. was formed in 2003 in the aftermath of 9/11 as one of the myriad liberty-stealing laws and government agencies created ostensibly to “keep us safe.” “Keep us safe” is one of the many code words politicians and other government men use to oppress us. Anything and everything can be justified to “keep us safe” when the elites are stoking fear over created tragedies and crises (hence the “war on drugs” and the “war on terror”).
As the largest investigative arm of DHS, ICE “is responsible for identifying and shutting down vulnerabilities in the nation’s border, economic, transportation and infrastructure security.”
ICE essentially functions as a liaison between the Department of Homeland Security and state and local law enforcement agencies, providing training that allows them to function as federal immigration agents with federal law enforcement powers. In other words, it federalizes state and local police.
It also operates detention centers, jails and prisons for illegals. Due to congressional mandates, ICE is required by law to detain and house at least 34,000 illegals every day. In order to meet its quota, ICE has joined with Border Patrol and become hyper-aggressive in its tactics.
Thanks to the manufactured crisis over family separation and housing facilities used to detain illegals declaring asylum upon capture, ICE has become the lightning rod in the debate over open borders. President Donald Trump’s efforts to choke off illegal immigration have been pushed down the memory hole.
The radical left has repeatedly called for defunding and disbanding ICE over its family separation policy, while the more “moderate” Democrat voices are joining with Republicans to support the agency while calling for modest reforms in policy. But any government agency with quotas is going to be abusive and aggressive in its enforcement and investigative techniques.
ICE and Border Patrol operate in a zone that stretches 100 miles inland from any sea or land border. American citizens are often caught up in their dragnets and their checkpoint operations — which have been codified by the Supreme Court even though the agents at the checkpoints regularly deny American citizens their rights under the 4th and 5th Amendments.
Since it is the radical left that is calling for ICE’s abolition and the more “moderate” bipartisan voices in the political sphere that are advocating for its continuation, calls for ending the abusive federal agency and its evil kinsmen — Border Patrol and DHS — can and will be labeled a left-wing nuttery.
Here we have the political discussion flipped on its head, demonstrating the power the change agents have in our thought processes. Republicans claim to believe in small government. But there is nothing “small government” about the Department of Homeland Security – the American Gestapo.
To DHS, everyone is an enemy of the states. How else does it justify roving checkpoints miles from the U.S. border and the Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) and their requirement that travelers endure airport assaults and privacy invasions?
Republicans cannot legitimately claim to stand for liberty and small government and support such an abusive and growing federal agency. But it has been an ongoing trend for many years for Republican voters to advocate for their own slavery and surrender their rights in the name of “keep us safe.”
DHS and its pernicious children TSA, ICE and Border Patrol have become tools of oppression, little different from the way the IRS is used as a cudgel by the political class to beat people into compliance.
So-called Democrat Socialists (Communists), who have never seen a collectivist, central planning government program they wouldn’t give their whole-hearted endorsement to, call for the abolition of ICE — but not because it is abusive to Americans. Because it is abusive toward foreigners.
The real goal
The truth of the matter is that it’s that lack of hope for improvement at home — along with encouragement from the globalists — that incentivizes migrants to cross miles of desert without food or water, and causes them to lash together pieces of scrap to build boats to cross oceans to game the U.S. immigration system, or pay their life savings in bribes or sell their bodies to come to America.
The U.S. government and its symbiotic partners the multinational corporations and the World Bank have exploited those countries for their resources for years. In his two books, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man and The Secret History of the American Empire: The Truth About Economic Hit Men, Jackals, And How to Change The World, former economic hit man John Perkins provides great detail of his experiences in the dark, shadowy world that combines the machinations of the Deep State with corporatocracy in the name of plunder and globalism.
Recognizing that America’s virtually unchecked immigration policies are destroying America’s values and economy, Trump took a stand against it. It earned him a number of epithets including racist, Nazi, anti-Semite, fascist and xenophobe and helped defeat him at the polls in 2020.
The goal of these elites is to eliminate borders and to accomplish this it intends to swarm all nations with people from other cultures, nationalities and, especially, religions so that people of civilized and established nations lose their cultural and nationalist identities and become homogenized. The argument can then be made that, since a nation now has no cultural or racial identity, borders are irrelevant.
In a world without borders, people become world citizens. World citizens need a world government. The propaganda power of ideological labels should be exposed for what it is; namely, a conspiratorial campaign to undermine American sovereignty and independence for “democracy.”
We are truly on board the crazy train.
