Homer Township Supervisor and Will County board member Steve Balich is calling out local schools over pushing sexually themed curricula on young children.

“I’m really frustrated that we got to this point in our society where the government wants to tell parents what’s good for their kids and whether they like it or not, they’re going to shove it down our throats,” Balich told Will County Gazette. “I don’t know any parent that thinks it’s a good idea to teach little kids about transgenders and the rest of, you know, it’s just beyond lack of a better way. It’s a total lack of logic. Kids can’t be little kids.”

Balich is an opponent of government overreach.

“So I don’t know whether the federal government’s going to listen to the world like 99% of the people or they’re just going to do it because they can’t,” he said. “They’ve got the power and they’re going to force it down this road. That will start what we’re looking at, where is where they’re going to listen to what everyone says.”

Kids wouldn’t understand — discussing transgenders with children is “totally wrong” and “it’s got to stop,” Balich said.

“We have three school districts in our area,” he said. “We got all of them indoctrinating the kids. As far as I’m concerned, one is worse than another, but they’re all doing something. You know, that’s not what the parents want. At District 92, they were saying the Pledge of Allegiance to the global citizens of the world. And what the hell is that? They said everybody that graduates there will be ‘good global citizens.’”

Balich emphasized that parents are sending their kids to school “to learn about reading, writing, math and history — real history, not the 1619 Project or something in that order” to make sure their kids are educated. “They don’t want this other crap,” he said.

Teachers at a Bolingbrook middle school are being instructed on how to be more “pro LGBT,” with the demand that they quit using expressions like “boys” and “girls,” use “LGBT adult role models” in their lessons and put “gay pride” rainbow flags on their desks, Will County Gazette reported.

North Cook News reported that the Evanston-Skokie School District 65 has adopted a “radical gender curriculum” for pre-K through third grade. The school’s curriculum has been dubbed radical since it encourages teaching young children about transgenderism and LGBT lifestyles, including lessons about the rainbow flag. Kids are asked to describe their sexuality by selecting a color from the flag. Four-year-olds are taught sexual education and gender indignity in that curriculum, whereas 5-year-olds are taught about transgender identity. First grade lessons include pronouns such as “she,” “tree,” “they,” “he,” “her,” “him,” “them,” “ze” and “zir.” Older students are told white Europeans imposed a “Western and Christian ideological framework” on minorities.
