The Community Mental Health Board is responsible for planning, coordinating, evaluating and allocating funds for mental health resources within Will County, according to a release from the county. Throughout 2023, the board will work to establish a framework to operate and prioritize resources within the community.
Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant invites the public to apply to serve on this newly established volunteer board. Applications of selected board members will be voted on by the Will County Board before their appointment is finalized.
