JOLIET, IL- Will County Board members Steve Balich (R-Homer Glen) and Mike Fricilone (R-Homer Glen) today announced they are hosting a town hall meeting on October 13 from 7 to 9pm at the Village of Homer Glen Community Room, 14250 W. 151st St. Balich and Fricilone will be joined by State Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno and the Homer Glen Chamber of Commerce to discuss important issues facing the state and county.

“Our residents often ask to hear updates from our elected officials in Springfield, and we look forward to hearing from Sen. Radogno and getting our constituents’ questions answered,” said Balich. “This is a critical time in our state’s history, and everyone’s voices should be heard. We invite anyone interested in learning more about state and county issues to join us on October 13.”

The Board has been busy working on several important projects, including plans for a new Public Safety Complex and courthouse.  A groundbreaking ceremony to begin the construction of the Public Safety Complex is slated for October 5. The complex will house the Sheriff’s Department, 911 Center, and Emergency Telephone System Board.

“We are proud of the progress made in the past year to get these important capital improvement projects off the ground and moving towards completion,” said Fricilone. “The Board has worked diligently to provide these much needed modern facilities without burdening taxpayers with unnecessary debts and taxes. We look forward to updating residents and answering their questions.”
