Black Panthers Hold ‘Human Rights Tribunal’ in Milwaukee
In what can only be considered a major irony, the Black Panthers of Milwaukee are protesting “genocide” of blacks by police.
I’m not sure of their priorities, but my list abortion and black on black crime ahead of “death by cop.”
Yet, as was reported,
Members of the Black Panthers of Milwaukee, some armed with guns, marched through the Sherman Park neighborhood on Sunday to protest what they called the “genocide” of African Americans at the hands of law enforcement.
The afternoon march, which they called a “human rights tribunal,” was held in the name of Sylville Smith, Jay Anderson and others who have been killed by police officers.“This is genocide. It can’t go on. Any other country, any other people it would be declared as such,” said Dr. Alli Muhammad with the Revolutionary Black Panther Party.
Genocide? Exactly how many blacks are killed by police?
Of the 990 people who were killed by police officers in 2015, the Washington Post reported 258 of them were black. So far in 2016, there have been 708 documented deaths in police shootings, 173 of which have resulted the deaths of African-Americans.
Sadly, neither of these groups actually cares about the facts, as there is much more money in the lie.
So now the Black Panthers of Milwaukee called for the resignation of Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Police Chief Ed Flynn. Why? Because a former police officer was prosecuted for killing a black citizen.
Dominque Heaggan-Brown, the former Milwaukee police officer who shot and killed Smith, sparking days of unrest, was charged last Thursday with first-degree reckless homicide.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney earlier this month said the Wauwatosa police officer who shot and killed Anderson in June wouldn’t be criminally charged in that case.So justice was served, and the officer involved in the shooting charged. However that’s not enough for the race-baiters.
