Celebrating Music from Around the World
Students share special songs at school concert
Young School second-graders proudly shared their cultural heritage during a concert for friends and family on March 17.
Led by music teacher Jodi Bordenaro, students sang, danced and played musical instruments from various countries as they celebrated their diversity and music from around the world.
Students were asked to wear clothing that was reflective of their cultural heritage or a culture of their choice. Some wore red, white and blue to represent America. Several wore green because it was, after all, St. Patrick’s Day.
