I am requesting for my constituents both present and past (those evicted from their homes through the use of eminent domain, threats and intimidation by the state’s hired consultants, and those who passed away) in the “inaugural” and “ultimate” airport footprints an apology from Rev. James E. Hunt, Ed.D pastor of New Hope Christian Community Church in Monee and his congregation so that we too can have new hope.

Rev. James Hunt and members of his congregation have come to the rural area between Monee, Peotone and Beecher and prayed for the loss of homes, property, jobs, and community against the farmers who have done their best to be wonderful stewards of the land providing food to our nation and the world.

They prayed for homes, farmland, owner/operated business be taken from some and given to others.  This was a horrible act for people of faith to wish great losses to other people of perhaps another faith and ethnicity.  Farmers and homeowners in rural Monee, Peotone and Beecher were prayed against to face great adversity for the gain of others who had NO right to their lands.

I believe that if Rev. James Hunt is truly a man of God and one with great faith that he will understand the wrongdoing he, members of his congregation and others have done to the people in the rural areas between the villages of Monee, Peotone and Beecher and that they will see how unjust their acts were.

People in the “inaugural and ultimate” airport footprints have suffered tremendous worry, been held hostage still to this day for a political project.
I believe that ALL people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion and political affiliation are ALL to be treated with respect and righteousness.  I pray that he receives my message and seeks to give a public apology to my rural constituents.

Maybe then we can all move forward with “A New Start for New Hope”.
Sincerely,
