Political Commentry

Now, the story I’m writing to you today will impact what is happening in the Illinois Republican Party and the rank-and-file Republicans, the Grassroots. Right now, there are many that are unhappy with the state of the party. People became confused after our failed “Red Wave”. Last year, I remembered the excitement among GOP political candidates and their supporters just to see those smiles drowned out by horrific GOP losses.

After living under Democratic rule and countless bills that passed the legislature violating our constitutional rights and exposing our children to sex in our schools under the protections of so-called “law” offering protections to pedophile men to dress like women and to strip in front of young children as young as five years old. To offer lap dances to our young angels under color of authority. Grown men interested in these children sexually. What have we become of a nation that we find this socially acceptable? I can see the Lord weeping right now, witnessing how we turned our backs on him.

The Democrats delivered more so-called laws like HB3653 giving more rights to criminals than the victims of crime. Passing this nonsense law, the liberals made it so if you commit a murder, and you can’t afford bail because you came from a “broken” home, you can be released back into society by law to murder again. This bill labels Police Officers as the criminals now holding our Police liable and accountable with threats of arrest for not having their body cameras on. They recently passed a law to allow non-citizens to become Police Officers depriving your freedoms yet another test and attack on we the people and the Constitution.

This economy is broken. I was at Walmart yesterday when I was recognized by a Walmart greeter that was a fan from Campaigns and he wanted to say hi and talk shop. At 83 years old, he’s working yet again at his old age because his social security is not enough to keep up with inflation and to buy groceries and pay the bills. He damned Biden and the Democrats and with tears in his eyes, this veteran of Vietnam asked me if help was on the way. I told him yes sir, we are going to take back this country and yes help is on the way. I made him that promise. Leaving that Wal-Mart, I had tears in my eyes seeing firsthand what the Democrats delivered to us. How many times have we witnessed senior citizens for ed upon the work for e once again just to eat, pay the rent and pay the ever increasing costs of medications that Medicare will not deliver because of the added illegal aliens we have to offset.

Illinois just passed a bill offering 550 million dollars in FREE Medicaid healthcare to incoming illegal aliens coming to Illinois. It’s estimated that 1 million of them will flood into Illinois this year. Chicago alone is spending 50 million dollars a month to house and feed them every single month. The federal government is having this with 175 a month. What happened to America First? How about this veteran at Wal-Mart with tears in his eyes betrayed by America the country he fought so hard to defend in war?

The Democrats are too focused on Climate Change and the proxy war in Ukraine. We spent 10p billion dollars on this BS war and us Americans are taking a backseat. With that money every single school in America can be offered $130,000 for school security but no. It’s about the world stage and not us. They are spending our hard working dollars on illegal aliens that laugh at us that disregard our laws, yet collecting thousands of dollars the minute they cross the border with Obama phones and welfare creating employment competition, taking away American jobs and depriving our entitlement programs. It’s time that we delete the Democratic agenda. I refuse to live under a Democratic Junta. A communist state.

Change isn’t coming….. It’s already here. It’s been decided. Let me explain my friends.

This coming year in 2024 will be the comeback of the Illinois Republican Party. For the last nine months, myself and others have worked behind the scenes making strategic moves to win elections. We orchestrated plans to even conduct primaries and even replace leadership in the party at all levels that defaulted on their campaign promises. They forgot our state’s most precious commodity….the PEOPLE. Now the PEOPLE are rising up for true change. Could you blame us? After the fallout of the 2022 midterms elections and our losses in mass, the rank and file were thirsty for blood.

After the elections social media blew up with postings calling out the party leadership. The Illinois Republican Party was a house divided, and the people were convinced that there would be no way we could recover. The Democrats celebrated their wins. They swept every single constitutional seat and added so many more seats to the General Assembly that Democrats ran out of state on their side of the chamber in the house that they had to be seated on the Republican side.

Of all the Registered Republicans, we only had a 20% voter turnout in the midterm general elections. What happened to the so-called “Red Wave” that was coming to win back our state? It never came. Who was to blame for this? We can blame the GOP leadership all day and I agree with you, but after all, it was us. Just imagine that out of 100% of Republican registered voters, only 2/10s of us actually voted. Like you, I agree it’s a leadership problem, but it’s not only at the top, but it’s among the thousand of PCs that failed to deliver their precincts.

The most powerful elected position in the Republican Party is not the Presidency of the United States, but your elected Precinct Committeeman. The PC owns that demographic, yet, we couldn’t get out the vote. We failed among ourselves to bring out the masses to defeat the same Democrats that time and time again bring these nonsense laws. Yet, we complain that it’s the other guys’ fault but not looking at our house.

We need leadership at all levels. The Republican Party doesn’t need one General but thousands. We need to take up this fight now for 2024 because if we don’t, all will be lost. Aren’t you tired of losing? I am, and that’s why many of you are stepping up to fight back…. the Grassroots.

Two great men in history set forth a cause. A cause for freedom and liberty. Our first President, George Washington and a great King in the Bible, David. Both faced down armies that would abolish them with numbers and strength. Yet, they conquered with the help of God. Washington facing the English and David the Philistines. They both fought and killed to overcome the enemy and became victors. But how? Because they had a cause. The cause to save their nations, separated by thousands of years for the same right. The right to save the people.

After opening with an explanation of his choice not to seek a third term, Washington’s farewell address urged Americans not to put their regional and sectional interests above the interests of the nation as a whole. “You have in common cause fought and triumphed together,” Washington declared. “The Independence and Liberty you possess are the work of joint counsels, and joint efforts, of common dangers, sufferings, and successes.”

Regions such as North, South, East, and West should see their common interests rather than their differences, he continued. “Your Union ought to be considered as a main prop of your liberty, and…the love of the one ought to endear you to the preservation of the other.” The cause.

This reminds me of when I was in Bible College, a story of King David, who before was a Shepherd boy delivering food to his brothers fighting under the Nation of Israel’s first Jewish King Saul. You see, Israel was under invasion by the mighty Philistines (The Democrats to us) and the Philistines laughed at the Jewish Army. Goliath, the giant, challenged King Saul, stating that if one warrior were to defeat him, the Jews would have the victory.

Now, the way we see this in the life of David starts when David is living in a time of a war on terror. There are no al-Qaeda operatives trying to detonate bombs in Bethany, but there is a Palestinian army that is annihilating Israel, the covenant people of God. Their secret weapon is really no secret anymore:  a giant named Goliath, with a giant spear, a giant shield and a giant hatred of the people of God.  David was on the front line, which is quite withdrawn from the battle with this demonic opponent because of the size and strength of this enemy. David is back tending sheep. You can already sense that this just cannot be. That boy has got to get in the fight, in the same way that enlistments go up whenever our nation is attacked.

Well, David is on the front lines with some provisions for his older brothers, to check on them and to bring back some proof that they are all right. But David arrives at the theater of operation, assesses the situation, and is absolutely incensed by it. Israel is shaking in their sandals against this Goliath, and something boils up and over in his soul. He asks what will be done for the man who takes this giant out forever. David is stirring up the people with this kind of talk, and his older brother Eliab gets on to him.

Eliab, his eldest brother, heard when he spoke to the men. And Eliab’s anger was kindled against David.

The bibles says:

27 And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him.

28 And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spoke unto the men; and Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.

29 And David said, What have I done now? Is there not a cause?

Now I ask you, my fellow Republicans, is there not a cause? What is our cause? Our children. The future of this state and our great nation. Like David, will we face down the Democratic Goliath. David was not a leader. He was a sheepherder delivered by God to win the battle. He was not a soldier. Furthermore, he had no armor or weapons. Likewise, he had no training or even pissed a sword, let alone killed a man in battle, yet the mighty men under King Saul’s command trembled at the sight of this giant warrior Goliath, calling them out. So this Sheppard boy, David stepped up to challenge this giant challenging the Israeli Army to fight. So David, this Sheppard boy, stepped up with a slingshot and faced Goliath face to face and King Saul looked in shock at this boy. Goliath approached and attacked David and then David produced but a single stone and slung it to his Democratic forehead, killing him. After this beast was slain, David took the giant’s sword and chopped off his head, gaining the victory. You see, we need more Davids instead of Kings.

We need more leaders from the grassroots to step up to win the victory and elections. You see, I was that Sheppard boy, like David. I was but a little Mexican from Illinois that didn’t grow up with money. I was poor. Furthermore, I grew up in the projects. I witnessed sexual abuse in my family. I was beaten. Later, at 13 years old, I became homeless because there was no room for me. I lived behind a church begging for food and if I was lucky, I could sleep in relatives or friends’ homes for a hot meal and a shower. I was born again, and I escaped the gangs at a child’s age. I moved forward to become the man I am today, doing well in school. I joined the military and later became a member of law enforcement, eventually becoming a detective. I became a successful businessman.  It didn’t stop there. I started more businesses. Then I entered politics working for President Trump, serving as his Hispanic Coalition Leader to deliver the votes amongst the minorities to help him win in 2016. I was the child of an illegal immigrant to become a success story for others in my family to follow, especially my beautiful daughter Kayla, who has my spirit, drive, and determination. Right now, I’m working with dozens of grassroots organizations so that together we can take back this state and country.

As a businessman I specialize in negotiations. I have sit downs to make deals. In my prior article, I explained that I was in negotiations with my dear friend Terry Newsome, to create a dialogue with the Illinois Republican Party. I’ll be the first to tell you, I wanted to replace every single GOP “leader” in the party. I attacked them ruthlessly on social media and here in this publication. Like you, I wanted blood and payback. We explored ideas to start our own conservative party, like President Trump did after the 2021 election. However, Trump knew he needed to stick to the party of Lincoln. So what did he do? He rebranded the party. This April, Larry Smith and Dean White, the Chairman of the Illinois GOP Task Force, reached out to me to assist them in having to create communications to the grassroots to rebuild and rebrand the Illinois GOP. After four months of hard work and sit downs negotiating, we made a deal. The Illinois GOP sincerely finally gave us a seat at the table. I offered them a 20 point plan to involve the Grassroots in a winning strategy to restore this party to our conservative values and ideologies. They approved it. Gone are the involvement in primaries. In came a plan to hear out the grassroots with appointed members on this executive Grassroots Task Force board with plans to bring us together in solidarity and to finally win elections. Ever so humble, they acknowledged mistakes were made in the 2022 elections.

Now the party wants to move forward to defeat the Democratic Goliath with us the Grassroots, the David of the bible. For the past year, I waged a personal war using my public platform to attack the GOP leadership. I’m a political operative by trade, and I have the necessary skills to do this. I was on the war path. Like you, I was angry and demanded we replace the leadership, and I was successful in doing so. I made my tours throughout the state, delivering my message until I had to sit down with GOP leaders to negotiate deals that finally brought the Grassroots to be on the forefront of this agenda. Together, we created an initiative to bring strategies to win elections with the Grassroots voice. Two weeks ago, I made an attack on my social media against the Illinois National RNC Chair Richard Porter. I attacked Porter because of an article he wrote promoting Desantis for President. The reason I conducted this attack is that I felt he let down the Trump supporters that are 85% of the party in Illinois. I attacked him viciously. I was mad, and I pointed blame at him because I felt he set our agenda a month back from all the work we worked hard for to gain the confidence of the Grassroots. The next day, I had many GOP leaders call me out to remove my post. Not the RINOs, but many from the Grassroots. At first, I refused because I was stubborn, but after consideration I did so because, after all, my mission was to quash the beef among the party members.

Let me begin by saying this. I answer to nobody. I am no punk. Furthermore, I will never sell out my beliefs. However, what I did crossed the line. So after I removed the post, the one man I attacked reached out to me, Richard Porter. He sent me a message explaining he understood my attack. He explained his position writing the article supporting Desantis. I explained to him I am 100% Trump. There is no one else that will love and support that man more than me I want him to be elected again and to Make America Great Again. However, what I failed to realize is that I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

In the Constitution, the freedom of speech is protected. The founding fathers guaranteed us that right.  I’m not talking about the liberal losers but among ourselves, the Republicans. Like Chicago, people may have their favorite teams, like the Sox or the Cubs. There have been many bar fights over who’s the best team, but after all, we are Chicago. Porter decided to support Desantis. It’s his personal freedom of speech. Do I agree with him, hell no? But the founding fathers gave him that right because we have elections. Yet, he is still a Republican.

This week I spoke to Tom Devore and we discussed what happened, and he told me that we cannot deprive the people of their individual choices. He explained that Porter is a dear friend of his but acknowledged they may not agree on all politics, but he is still a Republican and a friend. He explained that regardless, Porter has actually delivered for Illinois in elections behind the scenes. Devore is beloved among the Grassroots. He is a friend and I value his advice and friendship. So, Richard Porter called me to have a talk. I spoke with him, of course, with caution, but because Devore vouched for him, I listened. He offered his explanation and his discussions with other party officials about my post. For an hour, we discussed his history in the GOP including him being on the team with Ken Starr in the 90’s to investigate Bill Clinton and later impeaching him. We discussed the hundreds of races he was involved in to bring conservatives to elected office. We discussed how he was under attack because of his defense of the Republican Party. This is an article about Porter and his involvement taking down Clinton:

Richard Porter, a law partner in Whitewater independent counsel Kenneth Starr’s private practice, provided advice and shared information with a covert investigation of President Clinton’s sex life conducted between 1992 and 1994, Salon has learned.

In addition, Porter has been involved in a wide variety of efforts to damage the Clinton presidency, including “opposition research” for the Bush campaign in 1992, the “Troopergate” scandal, the Paula Jones case and the Linda Tripp tapes getting into the hands of Starr’s staff last winter. These revelations raise new questions about whether Starr’s inquiry has actually been independent from parallel efforts by conservative partisans to discredit the president.

Porter, a partner of Starr’s at the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis and a former senior aide to President George Bush, worked in the spring of 1994 to find competent legal counsel to represent Jones in her sexual harassment lawsuit against Clinton, according to two attorneys who worked on the case.

In addition, as the New York Times has reported, Porter is one of three conservative attorneys who secretly assisted Tripp in obtaining legal counsel, and in bringing her tapes and other information about Monica Lewinsky to the attention of the independent counsel’s office. The information about Porter’s role in the earlier investigation of the president’s sexual conduct and in assisting Jones in finding legal counsel has not been previously reported.

The private investigation of Clinton’s sexual conduct was initiated during the 1992 presidential campaign and privately financed by Peter W. Smith, a Chicago businessman and conservative activist and a major fund-raiser for House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Porter’s role in these various endeavors has been a particularly sensitive and contentious issue both for Starr and for Porter’s employer, Kirkland & Ellis. During his tenure as Whitewater independent counsel, Starr has been under constant attack from partisans of the president, who have criticized Starr because he has been a part-time prosecutor and some of his law firm’s clients have been adversaries of the president. Earlier this year, the law firm began an internal investigation into whether Porter had worked on the Jones sexual harassment case without the approval of the firm’s other partners. To date, the firm has declined to comment about that inquiry.

I’m a firm believer of redemption. There are mistakes I’ve made in my life that I regret because I am not perfect. I struggle everyday in my life to redeem myself from those mistakes. I have been under attack and until this day I’m under attack. The Lord commands us to love our enemies but as Republicans are we enemies or just those that disagree in politics. Many of my dearest friends are taking sides to support candidates running for President. I now realize that it’s selfish for me to attack their freedom of speech because after all it’s America.

Next week I’m meeting with Richard Porter to have a sit down negotiation. After our conversation he promised me this. Regardless of our differences he will join me on our plan to win the 2024 elections and he’s going to bring a lot to the table and Tom Devore is backing up his word. So we can make a decision now. Move forward together or continue to be a party divided. When I spoke to the Illinois GOP Chairman Don Tracy last week he gave me his word that he is going forward with this agenda. Previous strategies failed and now it’s time for new ones. It’s not just me that is backing this plan but many grassroots organizations across Illinois  because what do we have to lose…more elections?

Porter recently was in in Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s office in the Capitol and while there Trump called him. Porter explained McCarthy had a big grin taking the President’s call. He then told Porter the respect he has for Trump and how he supports him in all ways. Remember that the Freedom Caucus threw McCarthy under the bus and refused to elect vote for him. However he was needed. Trump knows that he’s not 100% MAGA but he’s a Republican that is needed to meet his America First agenda.

I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to win. If these guys are going to finally produce I say let’s do this and if they fail on their promises well there will be consequences. I promise you that. If they don’t give us a seat at the table they will be on the menu. Soon, there will be a GOP Town Hall so you can offer your voice to this new plan. Now let us fight like King David to defeat the Democrat machine. It’s time like Trump we win again.

Listen to me and lift your eyes. I refuse to become a poll or a statistic again. In 2024, we will win and secure a future not for us, but our children. I’m a father and I want what’s best for my future grandchildren. I refuse to be selfish for is there not a cause like King David called out the Army of God. Now let us come together for this great endeavor to win this battle.

God bless!
